Spitzer and ad guru Siegel fight fire with babies; come to Albany March 13 with Medicaid Matters!
Crying, waiting, hoping for reform

Governor Spitzer fought back against high-intensity (and misleading) TV ads run by the hospital workers mega-union 1199/SEIU and hospital lobbyists Greater New York Healthcare Association with some ads of his own.

Spitzer's ad is being run by the Governor's campaign committee, Spitzer 2010, and was created by Jimmy Siegel, the Guv's Madison Avenue ad guru.

Siegel's crying and smiling babies are a bit fresher than 1199/GNYHA's wailing ambulances — it's going to be interesting to see which spots move the most voters.

URGENT SAVE THE DATE: Medicaid Matters, the statewide Medicaid consumer advocacy coalition, is planning an Albany advocacy day on Tuesday, March 13 and a NYC summit meeting next Thursday afternoon, March 8. For more information, contact Charles Long at long2@housingworks.org.
