REACH OUT TO REPUBLICANS

Reach out and touch a Republican today

AIDS advocates have been working for weeks in the House of Representatives to win Republican co-sponsors for the Early Treatment for HIV Act (ETHA), the measure that would give states the option of expanding Medicaid to cover people with asymptomatic HIV infection.

We've got 17 GOP cosponsors and we're shooting for at least 20: We need your help today!

Here's the honor roll of current co-sponsors:

Reps. Ros-Lehtinen, Shays, Smith, McCotter, Bono, Kirk, Paul, Fortuno, Pickering, Walsh, LoBiondo, McHugh, Saxton, Frelinghuysen, Weller, Castle and Dent

If you're represented by a Republican that's not on this list, it's important to call them in D.C. toll-free today at 888-802-1207 and give them this simple message:

"Please consider signing on as a co-sponsor for the Early Treatment for HIV Act that saves lives and saves money by providing basic HIV treatment and preventing advanced illness. You can contact Representative Ros-Lehtinen for more information, or check out wwww.campaigntoendaids.org/etha."
